Position Summary

You will serve as a primary driver of CFX’s growth in North Florida, responsible for generating new opportunities, expanding market penetration, and building long-term customer relationships. This role requires a true hunter—someone who is motivated to prospect daily, set high-quality appointments, and close deals through consultative, solution-driven selling.

Key Responsibilities

New Business Development

    • Consistently identify, pursue, and secure new accounts through structured cold calling, prospecting, networking, and targeted outreach.
    • Develop a robust sales pipeline and maintain a high level of prospecting activity within a defined territory.
    • Use phone, email, social platforms, and creative strategies to schedule in-person appointments with decision makers.

Sales Execution & Strategy

    • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to exceed assigned revenue targets.
    • Conduct needs assessments and propose tailored solutions that combine copier, printer, IT, and Managed Print offerings.
    • Present and demonstrate technology solutions that solve client pain points and improve operational efficiency.

Client Engagement & Relationship Management

    • Build and sustain long-term relationships with new and existing clients.
    • Deliver a professional, customer-focused experience from initial contact through contract execution and beyond.
    • Maintain accurate records of activity, contacts, and progress in the CRM.

Market & Competitive Insight

    • Monitor market trends to identify opportunities for expansion and differentiation.
    • Understand competitive dynamics and leverage insights to position CFX’s value proposition effectively.

Negotiation & Reporting

    • Lead contract discussions and secure mutually beneficial terms.
    • Prepare accurate forecasts, activity reports, and sales analyses for senior leadership.

Qualifications

  • Proven sales success, preferably within copier, print, imaging, voice communications, or IT solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to open doors, create new opportunities, and consistently win new business.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Experience with solution selling and consultative sales approaches.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and sales activity tracking.
  • Analytical capabilities to perform market research and interpret sales data.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; relevant experience accepted in lieu of degree.

Requirements

  • Valid state driver’s license and required auto insurance per CFX policy.
  • Ability to travel throughout assigned territory.
